3 truths and a lie, is a performative, interactive book reading that presents the participants with 9 images and headlines, asking them to choose any 4, and still ending up with 3 truths and a lie. Drawing from feminist histories, media theory, contemporary digital cultures, computational studies, and critical humanities, the talk is an invitation to confront the instabilities and anxieties that we experience when we encounter the burden of fakeness.
